The Extended Family

To date my most challenging shoots have not been of crying infants or curious toddlers. In comparison to a large group of people an unwilling toddler is leaps and bounds easier to capture. However, when I photographed the Van't Spijker (16 people...one toddler included) I was shocked! They were such an easy group to work with. Everyone smiled, no one blinked and they took my light direction perfectly! As I sifted through photos I barely had to edit any out because this is one good looking family, everyone was camera ready and looked great in nearly EVERY shot. Thank you Van't Spijker family for letting me capture some great family memories!

  1. Great work Dana! Jack sold my family most of our cars and even helped teach me how to drive stick-shift.
