Boys will be boys!

Love these little guys! Dayton is such a funny kid...he loved dressing up like a firefighter for me and he totally rocked pink...I love to see little boys in pink! Dayton's new little brother was equally fun to photograph! He is one smiley kid! These boys will certainly grow up to be best buddies...

Married!

On a gorgeous summer day I photographed Pam and Ryan's wedding. Ryan and I actually went to high school together and my hubby played sports with Ryan...but I really didn't get to know him or his beautiful bride Pam until I did their engagement photos last fall. When I got to know the couple I fell in love with them. They make such a great team. Pam is a wonderful mom to her three children and Ryan has embraced being a dad. This family has a ton of love for one another. I watched Pam's daughter walk her down the aisle, I heard speeches about Pam's youngest daughter being the reason Pam and Ryan met (Ryan was coaching Pam's youngest daughters hockey team) and I watched Ryan being totally awesome with Pam's little boy. This family was meant to be together. Their wedding day was filled with such love and happiness which I can only hope will lead to a long and wonderful life together. Congrats Pam and Ryan!

Cute, happy, easy going....makes for a pretty fantastic shoot with a little one! Natalie was all of those things and more. I pulled TONS of props to prepare for my morning session with this little darling...and it was well worth it, she was such a cooperative little one. I loved editing her pictures...I swear there wasn't a bad one in the bunch...hope mom loves what we captured as much as I did!

The best compliment I can get is a referral. When someone loves the work I have done for them enough to pass on my name I am totally flattered! When I photograph a baby, family or wedding I think about the moments I would want captured and I try and create photographs that my client will love.

When I went to photograph baby Peyton it was because of a referral...only this referral was a bit different. A friend that I went to university with (who lives nowhere near me) follows my facebook fan page and passed along my information to her pregnant sister. Having only seen my work online she was sure I would be a good choice for her little nieces first photo session. What a great compliment! So thank you Lana for the referral...and of course Mom and Dad for allowing me into your home to photograph Peyton in her first few days of life! Such a treat!

All kinds of cute!

Mia is all kinds of cute! Just like her big sister, who I photographed for the first time a couple of years ago, Mia is so sweet. She didn't mind the outfit changes or numerous position changes...she really seemed to enjoy all the attention lavished on her. She was a dream baby! Thanks mom and dad for allowing me to be the "official" photographer of your adorable girls! I love watching your family grow!
